The RCKC (Road Commission of Kalamazoo County, Michigan, USA) successfully completed the paving of a road with a mixture of asphalt with rubber – thin layer – made with RARx additive, in more than one kilometer. It was the first time that this new technology was tested (August 2018), and with a lot of effort and coordination between many partners, finally this mix of thingap with RARx is now a real and sustainable work, the first of many others.
More than 40 Tons RARx. sent from the Cirtec facilities in Spain to Michigan were used for this test, which represented a real commitment to sustainability through mixtures of asphalt with rubber, with better technical performance than conventional ones.
